Along The Road – An Oz Trip Update

In case you have been wondering what we have been up to, here is an update on our around Australia trip. It has been an excellent adventure so far. After 3 weeks in Darwin we finally got itchy feet and got on the road again. We are currently in Katherine, enjoying the local gorge and river. We have been traveling now for over 10 weeks. We moved along pretty quickly at first, and have slowed down significantly in the warmer weather. We had a small hiccup in Darwin with repairs needed to the van, but that was solved without too much trouble or expense (thanks RAC breakdown service!).

The highlights of our trip so far have been the sights around Alice Springs (MacDonnell Ranges, Uluru, Olgas and Kings Canyon), Flinders Ranges, and the Hot Springs at Mataranka and Douglas River. Being back in Darwin catching up with old friends and favourite hangouts has bought back lots of great memories for us!

From here we will be going heading east through Mt Isa and hitting the Queensland coast around Townsville. We are very excited this next phase of our trip. We hope to spend a couple of months exploring this part of the world as it is somewhere all of us have never been too.

We hope everyone is well and would love to hear what you have been up to.
